About the project
The works involved the removal and disposal of approximately 543m² of existing asphalt pavement, equating to approximately 70 tonnes of material. The court area was excavated to a minimum depth of 190mm below the finished surface levels.
A 50mm layer of DGS40 sub-base was supplied and installed to provide a stable foundation, followed by the supply, placement and finishing of 150mm thick 32MPa concrete to match the existing levels and surrounding infrastructure.
Upon completion of the concrete works, a non-slip blue Flexipave surface was supplied and installed, including half basketball and netball court line markings.
